6 months of Charlotte!

 6months{Month 6 = keeping her eyes on mom at all times}

** You are SUCH A JOY!! You always have been, but now that you’re more interactive it’s a whole new level of joyfulness ;)

** You still put everything in your mouth. Of course none of your toys measure up to mommy and daddy’s cell phones or the remote… you’re always lunging for those and you don’t appreciate it when we pull them away and/or put them out of your reach.

** We started you on rice cereal a couple weeks ago and you seem to enjoy it. The first few bites are always a little confusing for you, but eventually you get the hang of it and swallow more than you spit out. A  lot of it still manages to get on your face though.

** While eating, you’re still trying to figure out how your tongue works.

** You love licking noses. If a nose is near your mouth, you softly lick it like a little kitten. Dad thinks it’s weird, I think it’s one of the cutest things ever.

** You make such funny sounds with your pursed lips. This is somewhat cute when you’re eating- cute because you’re making the sound, not cute because rice cereal goes flying everywhere.

** We finally put the bumper pads up in your crib and sleeping has been more enjoyable for everyone. You weren’t a fan of moving in your crib to then find your head against the hard sides. Mom and dad weren’t fans of getting up and moving you each time you cried because you were uncomfortable.

**  You’ve started scooting like a little worm :) You put your butt up in the air and propel yourself forward. All you need is one of your toys to entice you!

** You climb on everything!

** One night this month you slept from 7:30pm to 7:15am…. Mom and dad were freaking out we were so excited!! Hopefully you’ll turn that into a habit :) Sleep is still a roller coaster, but I keep telling myself that you’ll eventually figure it out.

** You love to stand. If you’re being held while sitting down, you’re constantly pushing yourself up to the standing position.

** You’re making all sorts of new sounds. It’s only a matter of time before you start talking!

    I agree that the nose-licking is adorable! I CANNOT believe she is 6 months old already- a completely different little girl than the one I met…once :(
