Marshmallow Pops!
June 13, 2012Cake pops look deceivingly easy. I’m convinced that they are a crumbly nightmare to make.
I took the job of making favors for Natalie’s bridal shower this past weekend, so as much as I love the look of cake pops, I decided on Marshmallow pops. Natalie’s style is very simple and understated, so I wanted the favors to reflect that. The colors of her wedding are very warm and soft and include a lot of blush tones, so I definitely wanted to incorporate that aspect as well.
I made 1 batch of white pops and 1 batch of pink pops. Then I alternated the sprinkles (white perils and gold glitter stars). I’ve used the gold glitter sprinkles one other time and each time I use them I think I’ll go through the entire tube for that one project. It never happens and I’ve barely made a dent in the container. It’s amazing how little you need to add such cute detail.

{cute, simple, yummy}
