Homemade Valentine Wax Paper

Wax paper can be so boring and blah, but this is anything but boring and blah.

I found the instructions, here. They’re embarrassingly easy :)

Originally I had planned to use the wax paper to wrap brownies. Well, that didn’t work out. The dark brownies accentuated the air bubbles in the wax paper and also blended in with the dark red hearts. So, I decided to go the healthier, lighter (by calories and color) route and wrap individual packets of almonds :)

If I make this kind of wax paper again, I’ll definitely hold the heat on the wax paper longer to hopefully eliminate the air bubbles.
